Luke Somerfield

I am Luke Somerfield, 21, from Nottingham.

I have a 2:1 degree in Media Production. Throughout my degree and my own project youtube channel, I have developed many skills, in regard to video editing, design, storyboarding etc.

Throughout my video editing, I ensure that videos keep viewers' attention and keep a high view duration. I have skills in colour correction, animation, storytelling, scriptwriting, graphic design etc.

I have a passion for always improving on my editing skills as well as working my own creativity into video edits.

I can confidently adapt my editing style to whatever type of content is put in front of me.

I have experienced many different types of media production through my degree, as well as the stresses of working to tight deadlines. I have a very high attention to detail, therefore I can't move on until I'm entirely satisfied with the edit.

My skills mainly lie within Abobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop

I am ready to get to work ASAP.

Throughout my degree, I have developed many skills, such as video editing, design, storyboarding etc. Through most projects within my course, I had the role of video editor.

I also have run my own fitness YouTube channel over the last 15 months, recording, editing and designing content for my audience. While keeping to my own deadlines, consistency and editing style. This experience really helped me understand how to edit a video in the most successful way possible, in order to keep viewers engaged and satisfied.
