Lydia Osborne

I am a 16 year old student currently studying makeup, hair and visual for stage and screen. I wish to develop my employability skills by putting my hardworking and positive attitude to good use. Being naturally personable and helpful I feel confident that I have the attributes to succeed in any customer service based role.

I would welcome the opportunity to prove myself and in return I would show commitment and dedication I have a keen interest in hair and make up, hospitality and catering and pets. In my spare time I enjoy making new creations by doing make up and hair to express myself and love experimenting with new hair styles on myself and me. Sometimes my family let me practise on them.

I dream that one day I will have my very own cake shop. I have love experiment with food and create new dishes for my family. I am undecided about my future aspirations but would like to gain as much experience as possible in different sectors to help me make more informed choices.

Production - Sister Act, Annie, Core Theatre - Langley Secondary School

I have had experience with my old school Langley by doing the scoop plays which are sister act, Annie. Outside of that I did the little mermaid in the core theatre in Solihull Which I did the boys which included Sebastia, Eric, king Tritan and Grimsby which everyone including the director was very impressed.

Makeup Artist - 2024 Production

Selected as a Makeup Artist for the 2024 production after being personally invited by the director in recognition of my performance skills. Created and applied glamorous stage makeup for the lead character, Deloris Van Cartier, including bold red lipstick, glitter eye makeup, and styled curled half up, half down hair to ensure a standout on stage appearance. Assisted with hair and makeup for backing dancers, including French plait hairstyling, while supporting the overall visual presentation of the performan

Backstage Makeup Artist - The Core Theatre

Gained professional backstage experience working on The Little Mermaid at the The Core Theatre. Attended rehearsals to build rapport with the cast and understand production requirements before show week. Was selected by the director to apply stage makeup for key male characters, including Sebastian, Eric, king Triton, and Grimsby. Delivered high quality character makeup that received positive feedback from both the director and cast.
