Qualified Bra Fitter - The Lingerie Lounge - Blackpool
(2021-06 - 2022-09)
In my position as a qualified and fully trained Bra Fitter, I dealt with and provided a high level of service to a wide variety of customers in a retail environment. Customers included teenagers receiving their first bra fitting, expectant mothers and ladies that had breast enlargements or mastectomies. This was a very personal, private and emotive job role and discretion was always important which I always strived to provide to customers ensuring they are comfortable at all times.
I had to be professional and customer focussed at all times and in some of the more emotive mastectomy cases, I also need to be sympathetic, understanding and compassionate to make the customer(s) feel at ease. As a main key holder, I would open and close the shop on the days that I worked, and I also dealt with the day to day running of the shop. Tasks associated with this day to day running of the shop include general cleaning and maintenance of the shop during quiet periods, providing a service to customers in terms of helping them with their lingerie choices and taking their measurements to ensure an accurate fitting.
I also assisted with stock taking and ordering of stock as well as monitoring the L

Residential Property Lettings Agent - Brighter Lets - Blackpool

I was the lead lettings agent for the company, and one of my responsibilities was arranging appointments with prospective tenants for viewings of domestic dwellings. This was via telephone and on a face to face basis in the local branch. Furthermore, having arranged the appointments, I was responsible for showing prospective tenants around the property and answering a wide range of pertinent questions they may have on-site.
I also dealt with the administrative side of the business by completing the paperwork with prospective tenants which included carrying out credit checks and discussing the tenancy agreements with clients prior to signing the tenancy agreement. I also had regular contact with tenants that were in occupation of properties managed by Brighter Lets as well as landlords whom had instructed Brighter Lets to manage their property assets. Again, this was by telephone and face to face, so it was important to have a good rapport with tenants and landlords alike.
I was also responsible for undertaking internal inspections of occupied premises with the tenant(s) to ensure the property in question was maintained properly in line with the tenancy agreement and to confirm prop

As well as the provision of beverages, I was responsible for dealing with both cash and debit card transactions and operating the cash register. I was also charged with restocking of the bar and general cleaning and maintenance of the bar area, including glass collecting duties.
As bar supervisor, I presided over a successful period for the business ensuring the bar was always adequately staffed and was always clean, tidy and presentable. Community Care Worker - Sevacare - Blackpool
(2010-04 - 2010-11)
As part of my role as a Community Care Worker, my main responsibility was to carry out personal visits to patients at home to provide on-site care and assistance to those in need. I regularly assisted patients with vital everyday tasks in their home. These included helping with the patient's personal care, personal hygiene and helping them to get dressed.
I also utilised electronic hoists where necessary. Furthermore, I prepared and served basic meals to patients, and help them maintain their house to ensure it was clean and tidy. I regularly administered prescribed medication to patients in line with the required dosage whilst not acting beyond my limitations.
I always ensured I conversed with patients when on-site as in my experience, many of the patients felt somewhat isolated being housebound and also a sense of loneliness. I would therefore take the opportunity to have a conversation and a chat with patients so they had the benefit of human contact as in some cases, this was a rarity. This was a particularly rewarding part of this particular job role.

I would subsequently update electronic files regarding vehicle repairs following road traffic accidents and send out correspondence in the form of formal letters or by email.
Another important part of my role was to contact AI's approved repair workshop contractors for updates to ensure the client's vehicle was repaired and returned within allotted timeframes which were outlined within AI's Service Level Agreements with contractors.
