Working as a waitress in a busy café, I provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. I handle cash and card payments accurately while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team has helped me develop strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills, as well as the ability to stay calm and professional during busy periods.

Care Home Worker - Emmaus House

During my time working in a care home, I was primarily responsible for organizing and leading activities that supported residents' social engagement, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. I planned and facilitated group sessions such as arts and crafts, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment. Alongside my main role, I also assisted with a variety of day-to-day tasks, including serving meals, maintaining tidy communal areas, and providing general support to the care team.

While I was not directly involved in personal care, I gained valuable experience in communication, teamwork, and understanding the diverse needs of elderly residents.
