This is a varied role in which I contribute to the organisation's ethos of reducing waste whilst supporting the local community.
My key responsibilities include
- Cutting, sanding, and preparing the wood for resale or repurposing.
- Retail sales with friendly and informed customer service
- Inventory management
- I have been DBS checked and received safeguarding training from People and Learning at The Prince’s Trust to work with vulnerable young people. This was for an outreach venture
- Health and safety compliance
- Implementing sustainability practices
