As a support worker my duties included looking after the clients health, administrating medication, to help them with their daily personal routines and needs.
To make each day the best it can be if possible.
To go out with the service users and help them to get active by walking and some sports like swimming and playing squash & volleyball,
Socialising with the service users by taking them out for a meal or going to the cinema and also on small breaks away for their one to one sessions and also taking them to their hospital appointments.
Help them with household chores like cleaning and cooking and assist them when they go shopping.
