I'm a motivated and compassionate final year BA Primary Education Studies student at Cardiff Metropolitan University, studying through the medium of Welsh. Alongside almost three years of clinical placement experience within primary school settings, I have developed strong skills within communication, relationship-building, safeguarding, supporting wellbeing and understanding and adapting to individual needs through my academic studies and practical experience. My degree has given me a strong understanding of child/individual development, behaviour, inclusive practice and the importance of providing the right support to suit individuals needs.

Through completion of my clinical placements, I have worked collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to support children's learning, development and wellbeing. I am very interested in developing a career within mental health and wellbeing and am motivated to build on my existing experience through further counselling training and professional development.

Alongside my education and childcare experience, I have nearly three years' experience working as a housekeeping assistant within a hotel environment, alongside previous experience in a 4-star hotel. This experience strengthened my organisation, resilience, teamwork, time-management and ability to work effectively under pressure.
