Mae Rutty

I work well both in a team helping to serve customers but can also take responsibility and complete my own individual tasks whilst working. As well as this i would say i am an approachable person who is friendly and would be welcoming to any member of staff. I enjoy working in a busy environment and interacting with a variety of customers.

Interests

• I take dance lessons in ballet, tap, modern and pointe
• I have taken part in multiple dance competitions in London
• I have taken ballet exams up to grade 6 and modern exams up to grade 6
• I have played Flute and Piano up to grade 4

Work Experience

Jousters Children’s Afterschool Club - September 2023-Current

• Supervising and setting up afterschool activities for the children
• Playing games with the children inside and outside and serving an after-school snack The Dance Studio - school of dance
• Helping at my dance school with ballet lessons, helping outwith the four- and five-year-old children during their dance lessons
• Demonstrating how to perform steps and movements and check that they understand

Wagamama’s September 2022- March 2023

• Working in my local Wagamama's welcoming customers at the door and seating them
• Taking food orders and delivering food to the correct table
• This job allowed me to develop my customer service skills and learn how to make sure all customers were satisfied and enjoyed a high-quality dining experience

Godfreys – Fish and Chip Restaurant January 2022 - May2022

• Taking orders at the main till, carrying out both cash and card payments and serving the fish and chips
• This role required me to work to a high standard and maintain good customer service whilst working at a fast pace

Voluntary work

• Helped on Sunday evenings at a local soup kitchen (NOAH) serving sandwiches and drinks to homeless people
• During dance school’s shows I have helped to look after the younger children and taken part in their dances which helps to raise money for the Great Ormand Street Hospital

Qualifications

• I have studied at Roundwood Park school in Harpenden from year 7 to 11 from September 2016 to May 2021
• I have taken GCSEs in the following subjects in 2021:

• I am currently completing my A-Levels in Geography, Food Technology and Nutrition and Sociology at Roundwood Park Sixth Form
