During my work experience placement at Perivale Primary School, I supported teachers with a range of classroom activities and daily responsibilities. My role involved assisting pupils with reading, writing and group activities while helping to maintain a positive, organised and supportive classroom environment. I worked closely with both staff and students, offering encouragement and guidance where needed to help pupils remain engaged and confident in their learning.

This experience strengthened my communication, patience and teamwork skills, as I regularly interacted with children of different abilities and worked alongside teachers to support classroom tasks. I also helped prepare learning materials and contribute to maintaining an organised environment. Through this experience, I gained a better understanding of responsibility, professionalism and the importance of creating positive experiences for others, all of which are valuable skills in a customer-focused retail role.
