Manisha Acharya

I have been working in healthcare over 16 years working in management roles whilst also working as a Cardiac Physiologist. I strive to provide excellent care to patients and in the reports that I produce for referring Doctor. I am a keen and quick learner, always looking for opportunities to add value.

I have been working at Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust for 5 years as Senior Cardiac Physiologist. I am the the only full time Physiologist undertaking Holter Analysis and ETT‘s. As well as the above reporting, I support the department with ECG reporting, training and supporting the Cardiographers. in the event of staff shortages I also assist with performing ECGs and fitting Ambulatory ECG and BP monitors.

Previous to this role, I worked for InHealth Diagnostics a private healthcare provider. I was with them for just over 10 year. I started working within the ECG clinics, they sponsored me to gain my SCST in Clinical Physiology which enabled me to start reporting on Ambulatory ECGs and BPs. Whilst gaining my qualifications I also started man the ECG service and I also progressed on to managing to different diagnostic services within the company .
