I am a part-time master's student in English Literature, with an interest in library services and widening access to literature. Alongside my degree at King's College London, I have been tutoring children (some with additional learning needs), supporting them through their GCSEs, as well as helping adults and young children to speak, write, read and learn languages. I enjoy working with a range of people and settings, adapting my empathy and listening skills to suit the needs and learning styles of those I work with.
Through my volunteering, I have been introduced to the working environment of the library, coordinating, supervising and working alongside library staff to support its valuable work within the community.
