Maria Oikonomou

With a degree in organizational leadership from Avado, I have developed strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills that I apply in my current role as an export coordinator at Mars. I am responsible for preparing and shipping products internationally, mainly throughout Europe, and coordinating with various stakeholders, such as veterinarians, transportation companies, warehouses, and market representatives. I ensure the smoothest and most cost-effective transportation of our products, while complying with the European and UK export and import standards at all times.

My previous experience as a continuous improvement coordinator and a shift supervisor at Amazon has taught me how to support multiple sites with their operational duties, projects, and launches, and measure and report their performance and customer satisfaction. I am passionate about finding ways to improve processes, solve problems, and deliver value to customers and stakeholders. I enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and collaborating with diverse and talented teams.

I am always eager to learn new skills, challenges, and opportunities.

I have been working for almost 20 years in a variety of fields all yhe way from hospitality and retail to supply chain and logistics . My experience has given me a great work ethos and has taught me how to take on challenges and develop my skills.
