I am dedicated to great service experiences which I demonstrate in the retail industry, bringing over 20 years of experience across organisations of varying sizes and leading diverse teams in the sales of a broad range of products.
My primary focus is on delivering exceptional customer service while consistently achieving key performance metrics through a service-oriented and operationally compliant approach.
Currently, I work as a Team Manager at John Lewis, commercially accountable for the following areas Beauty and Fragrance branded counter managers, the Beauty Discovery self-select skin and haircare departments, The Beauty Society service and beauty guides, as well as the Jewellery and Watch departments.
I am currently a Team manager in John Lewis Leeds, responsible for service, standards, sales & compliance on several departments on the ground floor including
*Skin & hair Care self service Beauty Discovery
*The Beauty Society Service & beauty guides
*Jewellery & watches
I manage, support & guide 18 luxury/premium brands counter managers, several fragrance sales staff & agency workers at store level & liaise with their relevant area & regional managers and agencies via email and in store visits.
I network to create opportunities for events internally & externally around the city of Leeds & I work closely with the John Lewis in-store community & events team.
I am also a line manager to a team of John Lewis Partners who are customer assistants delivering day to day duties across the tills, fitting room, customer collection desk & other services whilst completing daily department maintenance across jewellery, watches, handbags, food & alcohol gifts & stationery, menswear, men’s shoes including stock processing, stock replenishment, stock takes, promotions, recovery standards & most importantly having a heads up approach to the customer throughout. A true department store experience!
I have a store wide mentality with a flexible approach to each hour of the day to deliver the needs of the our partners, customer & store business in a 5 floor department store environment whilst delivering my role as Team Manager.
Level 3 Diploma in management retail skills
