I come from a professional background based entirely on Education: Associate Professor in linguistics, a PhD in TESOL and Principles of Teaching Foreign Languages; vocational training (UK NARIC Certificate), an MA in Translation Studies, a BA in English (UK NARIC Certificate) and a CELTA.

I have over 20 years of experience teaching EFL at various levels, examination preparation courses (IELTS, FCE, EAP/ESP), and working with learners from different linguistic backgrounds and ethnic groups in the UK.
