I’m a trauma-informed and emotionally literate primary school teacher with a strong background in the creative arts. I’m passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. My approach to teaching is grounded in creativity and therapeutic practice.
I integrate drama, music, and storytelling into my lessons to support emotional regulation, build resilience, and help pupils express themselves confidently. With experience across education, early years, and the performing arts, I’ve supported children and families through creative, relationship-based work. I’m particularly interested in mental health advocacy, early intervention, and using drama as a tool for healing and connection.
I hold a PGCE in Primary Education with QTS from the University of Leicester, where I trained in inclusive, trauma-informed teaching practices. I also have a BA (Hons) in Drama and English Literature from De Montfort University, which underpins my creative approach to education.
