I worked for this construction company in a variety of different roles which included general labouring and hammer hand. I did insulation (wall and roof) and plaster board on the walls, using the following tools on the site: grinders, mitre saws used to cut different sizes of the timber, compactor used for footpath and streets, jack hammer for all the demolition jobs

I worked in a variety of different roles within this agency ranging from gardening, warehouse work, general labouring. All of these positions rely on you being hard working and punctual to get further roles within the agency.

My role in this large warehouse were involved in moving boxes, working inside the fridges and freezer cells, unpacking containers and shelf stacking, packing goods with protective materials such as bubble wrap and polystyrene, cleaning work areas, weighing and labelling packaged goods ready for dispatch and reporting any problems during the shift to supervisors.

• Skills Used: The ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and carefully, good practical skills, the ability to follow instructions, a reasonable level of fitness, clear handwriting for labelling, an awareness of safety issues on the job.

Manufacturing Operator - La Veggia S.P.A - Italy

During my time here, I worked in a cardboard production factory. They had to work in different types of machine to make different size and kind of boxes. I had to change all components of the machines, i had to use the pc to insert all the details about the cardboard (thickness, size, number of colours involved in that kind of box).

• Skills Used: Good practical skills, the ability to work quickly and methodically, good team working skills, the ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks, the ability to follow instructions and an awareness of health and safety on the job.

I worked part-time like a bouncer in a variety of environments, such as night clubs, pubs and bars.

• Skills Used: A good level of physical fitness, the ability to make decisions quickly, good customer service skills, knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing laws, good powers of observation, strong communication skills, the ability to defuse potentially violent situations and good team working skills.
