About
Economics graduate and data scientist with postgraduate training in quantitative analysis, current doctoral research experience and university teaching experience. My background combines statistical analysis, socio-economic research, data interpretation and stakeholder communication, with practical experience working in complex organisational environments. I hold an MSc in Data Science and Analytics and a Graduate Diploma in Data Science, and I am currently completing a PhD in Computing Science focused on computational modelling and socio-economic systems.
My work has involved sourcing, cleaning, analysing and interpreting complex data, comparing alternative analytical approaches and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Alongside my research, I teach in higher education and have a strong interest in the relationship between data, education, economic outcomes and public policy. I am particularly interested in roles where rigorous evidence can contribute to policy development and improve understanding of the higher-education and research landscape.
