A recent BEng Chemical Engineering graduate at the University of Hull.
Experienced in leadership and management through employment and academia. I enjoy and am capable of taking responsibility and solving challenges even under high time or work pressure. I constantly seek to personally develop and progress as well as enjoy helping others to do so.
Chemical engineering is the field which I find myself being passionate about and see myself part of in the future.
Managing (supervising) a team of 8-12 people, communicating and cooperating with other management departments as well as performing equipment hygienes, managing workplace factory area, operating PPT while solving the constantly appearing challenges in the end of lines sector during the busy pea harvesting and processing season.
● As part of the team supervisor’s role, I was responsible for allocated sector’s staff training,
supervising the team’s performance, organising working schedules, solving appearing challenges related to team’s performance (motivating, supporting colleagues), assisting colleagues in order to achieve goals in time, ensuring safety procedures are being performed in correct manner.
● The role of the team leader required ensuring correct operation of the equipment, solving technical challenges, problems in order to ensure safe working environment, correct and efficient operation.
Besides, as a team leader, I was responsible for communication and cooperation between the departments in order to achieve the most efficient operation throughout the factory.
● The team leader was required to be highly skilled and experienced in all the tasks being part of the regular line worker’s responsibility. These tasks included operation of the Power Pallet Truck (small forklift),
quality assurance, performing hygiene’s (special chemical training was obtained), packing etc.
● The factory was continuously operating, hence the working environment was always fast paced, busy and challenging. Such experience has further developed my working under-pressure, critical fast-paced thinking and stress management skills.
● My performance has earned me respect from my colleagues and management. Being hardworking and dedicated person, I would always go an extra mile to help my colleagues while ensuring my responsibilities are performed to a highest degree. I have been awarded with the Employee of the Week award as a recognition of my contribution to the company.

● Teamwork and group management experience. Variety of group projects (including final design project) enhancing teamwork as well as management and leadership skills. In the majority of the group projects, including the final design project, I have taken the leader's responsibility. High standard final results as well as positive feedback from the colleagues have proven my leadership and management abilities.
● High level computer engineering tools understanding and skills.
(advanced skills) using ASPEN HYSYS and ASPEN PLUS software, engineering mathematics application though MATLAB software as well as great understanding and lots of experience using MICROSOFT software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams.
● As part of the final design project, I have prepared full initial design for the chemical plant (Dimethyl ether production), this included designing the process, creating process flow diagram (PFD) the designed process (using ASPEN PLUS software) as well as creating detailed piping and instrumentation diagram
(P&ID) and required equipment technical drawings. Finally, the process was simulated using ASPEN HYSYS software.
● Being keen in chemical engineering subject field combined with strong passion for continuous development has resulted in an exceptionally strong knowledge and skills base developed. It was awarded with a highest academical achievement - first class degree award.
