I have been employed by ABC Teachers since March 2024 as a supply teacher, a position that requires a great deal of trust and responsibility. As part of my job, I oversee secondary school pupils, make sure they are secure and comfortable during the school day, and assist their academic development in a disciplined and encouraging learning environment. I'm quite proud of my dependability, professionalism, and punctuality.

I always get to class five to ten minutes early, which gives me time to set up the classroom, arrange the teaching materials, and greet the students cheerfully. I think that starting the day with a peaceful and supportive environment makes pupils feel at ease, valued, and prepared to study. Every classroom offers fresh chances to grow, adapt, and form deep relationships with kids.

Stock Assistant/Retail Assistant - PRIMARK HANLEY

I was responsible for performing a variety of tasks during my employment, including setting out the merchandise for the next day before the store opened. As a result, I had to start working at five in the morning to store the new inventory in cardboard boxes and ensure that the shop floor was ready for customers to arrive during opening hours. Stocking the clothes in the morning was one of my main responsibilities, making sure the right amount of clothes was put out, the sizing order was in place.

During the day, I also worked on tills, handled cash, assisted customers with returns, and made sure they received exceptional customer service when they were shopping at Primark. Maintaining the clothes on the shop floor were folded and tidily arranged was another responsibility I had. Also removing any clothing that needs to be changed and putting it on the store floor to ensure that there was enough clothing for everyone throughout the day.

I had a variety of work duties to understand inside this position. I had to always provide excellent customer service and make sure that every client felt helped with whatever issues they had. Having several clients during this hectic time made them feel welcome and gave them the confidence to ask me any questions they might have.

When consumers no longer wanted certain things, I had to make sure they were all carefully placed back on the shelves and that they were all put back in their proper placements. On certain days, I worked as a cashier at the tills, which required me to handle money and ensure that I was off exemplary customer care. I would always make sure to be ten minutes early for my shift since I value good time management.

During these hectic times, picking up extra shifts as needed was vital to me since it helps everyone out and ensures that we are all working as a team. Cleaning up the environment and making sure that everything is ready for the next day or shift were among my responsibilities toward the conclusion of my shift. I worked here for three months, and it has helped me to use my skills to show off how well i can use them to my best of my ability.

Support Worker - SHELTON CARE GROUP

With this job I had multiple responsibilities to keep up with, such as looking after vulnerable individuals that need support from us support workers. There were daily routines that we had to keep in measures with to make sure that these individuals are kept safe and well looked after. The shifts i would do would change between 7-hour shifts, to 10-hour shifts or even 14-hour shifts.

Working in this job I had to support certain individuals with their personal care and daily activities that were made for them. This Job made me very motivated as helped a lot with my confidence after having the responsibility of an individual in my care. I had to support individuals with their daily routines such as getting changed, making their breakfast, cleaning their rooms, making their beds, daily chores that they had to do around the flat, giving their medication and keeping them company.

Costa Barista - ODEON CINEMAS

Whilst working at Odeon cinemas, I was employed to work in costa. This costa was in the cinema and my shifts conversed between Odeon and costa. My role in this job consisted of me to make a range of beverages for customers of their request.

This required me to train how to make the drinks in a specific way, making sure I use the right number of measurements for the right number of drinks. This also required me to use the till to make orders for customers, handling money to customers and packing their food for them if it was takeouts. Many customers liked to sit in the costa, this enabled me to make friends with a couple of the regulars and making them feel welcome in the costa.

Giving the best customer experience to ensure that customers felt welcomed to come back. This required me to clean up after the customers were finished, hygiene was very important in the cafe, making sure that everything was cleaned to the highest standards. Making the food for customers had to be made with the best of care making sure that all the food was made to the best of my ability.

Cinema Host - ODEON CINEMAS

With this job I had multiple responsibilities to hold for. I worked different days of the week for a range of 8 hours each shift I completed, this consisted of mornings, afternoons or late shifts. I worked on retail mostly, but I also worked on different areas of the cinema where I was placed.

This consisted of scanning tickets, cleaning the cinema screens and doing multiple screen checks during films. Towards the end of my shift, my duties were to clean all the areas in the cinema and stock up for the following day, these hours were late shifts until midnight. Working for Odeon cinemas helped me gain various skills such as excellent customer service, great team working skills, good organisation skills, having the ability to work under pressure at busy times and excellent communication skills.

This job required me to always put our customers first and give them the best experience whilst visiting the cinema. I had many responsibilities to complete within the next few months while working there. I had acquired many new skills that was fundamental in the workplace. I always arrived 10 minutes earlier to my shift so I can assure that I was fully prepared for my shift.

My shifts were differentiated throughout the week allowing me to be fully flexible for this, conversing between morning shifts and evening shifts. Whilst working in this shop my roles each day would converse between doing different tasks such as some days, I would have to collect shoes from the storerooms for customers, searching for different codes for the right shoe. My other tasks involved checking the sizes on clothing items making sure they are all in the correct order whilst on display for customers and ensuring they are looking presentable for customers to look at.

I enjoyed interacting with many different customers, one of the roles i had on some shifts was greeting customers at the shop entrance, ensuring I had a friendly face and enabling myself to be very confident to customers.
