My career began within the City of London financial career, as a trader, then investment manager for many years working in London then Edinburgh. Over the course of my financial career, I was heavily involved with client liaison, managing investment portfolios and communicating with clients and potential clients, including strong presentation skills. I am a very hands-on, interactive individual, quite used to engaging with senior management and colleagues and improving processes wherever possible.
Quite used to working towards financial and operational targets, with a strong commercial awareness towards profitability and improving processes. More recently, I was taken on as Office Manager with a Property Developer in Aberdeen to build the office and re-brand the company. Plans were put into place to scale the business as well as dealing with all the day-to-day operational parts of the business to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Including handling customers and tradespeople. Invoicing, quotations, sourcing materials. I like to think of myself as highly efficient and organised, always wanting the best out of a job and other people, including satisfied clients; highly adaptable and forward-thinking, working well with colleagues and individually.
