I am an eccentric and bright person whose worn many hats in my time working, I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to learning the ins and outs of each job I do and it doubles up as a lot of fun for me to learn new skills in each workplace. I'm an excellent conversationalist, mediator and I do my best every day to look at everything with a silver lining, so I would say I'm definitely a positive problem solver. Animal Maintenance at Wellgate farm (2021-09 – 2022-01)
I helped maintain the animals enclosures by performing tasks such as mucking out stables/huts/coups, re-bedding, health checks, administering treatment, egg collection, food providing, health specific food providing and general cleaning. I also handled many of the animals and am very comfortable handling animals.

During my time at the fatling I learned a various set of skills, including devoting enough time to each customer within a fast paced environment so that they feel they are completely satisfied, being able to quickly pick up specific computer systems, transactions and building trust in my customers, being able to work effectively and decisively on an extremely busy shift with a large volume of clients, patience and understanding with people, how to solve problems when things don't go to plan, health and safety and building good relationships with my co-workers.
Being employed at waterstones I had a great opportunity to widen my knowledge and transferable skills. Not only am I now a fully trained barista, I also know the ins and outs of opening and closing a coffee shop and café. I've managed stock orders, ordering them in on the system and organising and sorting them when they come in, I also stood in as temporary manager over the whole café a few times when my boss was away sick and all times I was happily successful.
I am also fully trained in the book store as a book seller, I know how to use the entire Phoenix system to check for in store items, order items in for customers and generally check stock. I also memorised all of the sections in my specific store to make it easier to show customers to certain books, which I could definitely do again.
