As a self-confessed Data Protection geek, I always look for ways to improve my knowledge and capabilities, with the goal of demonstrating how effective data protection governance can support business goals and assist in maximising revenue potential, whilst protecting corporate brands. I am currently completing my Leadership and Management Level 5 Diploma, as well as achieving IAPP’s CIPM certification by Q2 2024.
With over 30 years’ experience within technology practices and more than 8 years of experience leading and improving data protection compliance, I am well versed in designing, implementing and monitoring frameworks, standards and best practices across the UK, Europe, Middle East, APAC, USA and Canada. My knowledge of applicable laws, together with my practical experience, allows me to provide valuable insights from a legal, governance and operational perspective, supporting a diverse set of internal / external stakeholders (up to board level) and regulatory bodies.
