Hotel Operations Work Experience at Crowne Plaza Hotel (2024-04 – 2024-05)

During the placement I gained a good understanding of the day to day hotel operations and responsibilities of different departments and key personnel. On day 1, I received an Induction to the hotel (involving lunch with the General Manager) and got to have a practice interview for the role to give them some valuable interview experience with an employer. Over the next few days I was in a placement that will rotate between the following departments; Food & Beverages, Conferencing and Banqueting.

They will also get the opportunity to shadow the Guest Relations and Front of House Manager, HR Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager to gain an insight into their role and responsibilities. I did this for a week.
