Fire alarms

am applying for an electrical apprenticeship because I am passionate about building a long-term career in the electrical trade. Over the past 6 months, I have been fitting fire alarms, which has given me a slight insight into working with electrical systems, tools, and strict safety procedures. This experience has deepened my interest in the trade and confirmed my desire to gain formal training and qualifications.
I also have previous experience working as a labourer for a scaffolding company and a tree maintenance company. These roles helped me develop a strong work ethic and a good understanding of working safely and efficiently in demanding environments. I’ve learned the importance of being reliable, following instructions, and staying focused whether I’m working independently or as part of a team.
I hold a valid CSCS card, which shows my commitment to site safety and readiness to work on construction projects. I’m comfortable working on my own initiative and taking responsibility for tasks, but I also enjoy working in a team environment where I can contribute to a shared goal. I bring a positive attitude to every job, along with a good sense of humour that helps me get on well with colleagues and maintain a productive, friendly working atmosphere.
I am now ready to take the next step by starting an apprenticeship where I can continue learning under experienced electricians while developing both my practical skills and technical knowledge. My goal is to become a fully qualified electrician and eventually support others entering the trade, just as I hope to be supported at the beginning of my own journey.
