Mathew Jones

I have held several different roles over the course of my career and my most recent roles were chosen in order to work around a young family. I mainly worked in finance in the head office of a major UK bank and also as a contract worker for a financial services provider. I have a background in customer service also and enjoy an element of personal interaction in my daily role.

I am applying for a role in a library within HMP Altcourse as I have a longstanding love of literature and spend much om my free time reading. I am also familiar with the HMP Altcourse itself as I have several family members who are either currently employed there or have been previously and I have visited the site on many occasions.

I have held a variety of roles over the course of my career from various levels of customer service, several IT specific roles and then a significant period in finance working in both operational support roles and well as compliance. More recently I have taken jobs which work around a young family including qualifying as a Hackney carriage driver and my latest role in technical support for Nespresso.

I achieved 11 G.C.S.E.s with 4 A-grades, 3 B-grades and 4 C-grades.

4 A-levels with grades from B-D A City and Guilds certification in Computer Network Administration.
