I have developed extensive experience in the construction and retail sectors, progressing from early customer-facing roles into professional project management within the construction industry. My current role as a Project Manager at Princebuild Limited has allowed me to apply both my academic knowledge and practical skills to a wide range of commercial construction and refurbishment projects.

Since joining Princebuild in 2019, I have been responsible for managing and supporting multiple projects across the UK, primarily involving supermarket refurbishments, refrigeration upgrades, café refurbishments, and retail developments for major clients such as Morrisons. Initially working as an Assistant Project Manager, I supported site operations, coordinated subcontractors, monitored project progress, and assisted with procurement and cost control. As my experience grew, I progressed into a Project Manager role, taking greater responsibility for project delivery, team coordination, and client communication.

Throughout these projects, I have managed budgets ranging from £200,000 to £3.5 million, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within financial constraints. My responsibilities include site management, health and safety compliance, coordinating suppliers, managing project timelines, and resolving on-site challenges quickly and effectively. I have also supported quantity surveyors when required, helping with cost control and procurement decisions.

Prior to my construction career, I gained valuable management and customer service experience working as an Assistant Manager at Shell, where I was responsible for cash handling, stock management, staff scheduling, payroll, and customer service operations. This role strengthened my leadership, organisational, and team management abilities.

Earlier roles including work with Argos, Tesco, HCL Nursing, and SAS Security provided strong foundations in communication, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
