Matilda Burney

I am 21 years old and currently working as a Nanny for a family with 4 children. After 3 years of experience with child care, I am reliable, patient and caring. I am capable of working under pressure in a busy environment and can turn my hand to the practical skills for working in the hospitality industry. Due to my extensive theatre training and work with children I have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Nanny at Private Family (2024-04 – Present)

I take care of 4 children every day doing school pick ups, taking the children to clubs, helping with homework and music practice as well as making dinner and managing their bedtime routines. I work consistently for one family as well as looking after two little girls over holidays, weekends and some mornings, taking them to the playground, reading stories, doing arts and crafts as well as putting them to bed when the parents are out for the evening. I have covered all aspects of working with children and have many years of experience.

Music Manager (2024 – Present)

I am a singer and artist and have had to manage myself as an artist for 2 years before getting my own manager. This required constant multi-tasking, organising shows, sending emails, creating data plans and social media marketing plans. This taught me how to be highly organisational and effective with my time aswell as organising other peoples time as well.

Co-Host at Airbnb (2023-06 – 2023-08)

This role required me to manage the changeovers of a cottage, including cleaning, changing the linen and organising the space to make it acceptable for the next guest.
