Having started at Warwick Events on the warehouse floor and worked my way up to the senior management team, via several job roles including Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager, I have developed a solid understanding of the logistics of operating a demanding delivery based business; both at the day to day and the long term company strategy levels. Over 17 years, I have honed people management skills through the leadership of inhouse teams, departments and groups of departments. The generally tight timescales dictated by the client and the venue mean that communication is key for the project management element of my current job role, both in advance in writing and via dedicated IT systems but also in person on site.
Events Manager - Warwick Event Services - UK (National)

Responsible for operational management of the both the Exhibition and Production sides of the business nationally and the smooth integration of the two.
Management of all events nationally that involve both sides of the business. Line Management of the Production Management Team nationally, the company Transport Manager and the Exeter Warehouse Manager. Overall responsibility for all existing technical equipment, including specification, sourcing and purchasing of new equipment.
Health & Safety Officer – responsible for management of the H&S policy and accreditation submissions.
