I am degree educated Shipping Professional currently working in Terminal and Marine Services Procurement.
My career started as an operational seafarer and then mariner on inland waterways in 2006. I became and still hold an inland masters certificate in 2014.
I then became a Truck planner and operations planner at freight forwarding firms in London and Southampton.
Most recently I have joined a shipping line working in the Operations Department as the Operations Co-Ordinator. My current job involves assisting or leading Terminal Procurement, Marine Service Procurement both on a national and continental level.
I also maintain and update the company's terminal and marine service contract services and monitor volume.
I have also recently built an export storage analyser which is still in development along with monitoring 7 terminals on an individual cost item basis to understand and review how monthly expenditure is affected by delay or other event.
