Matt is a big picture thinker who does not lose sight of the end-game.
He owns and operates Eco-Enable Limited, a small Enterprise / Solution Architecture and management consulting practice, and is now Founder and Co-Director of Eco-Enabler Alliance CIC, a new type of open practice and open bench service geared to Sustainability Development and response to Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss which addresses ways and means to manage scarcity of natural resources
Matt's aim with Eco-Enable Limited is to formalise and share discovery about ways to effectively adopt, develop and use Architecture in the Enterprise to assist businesses who may be facing issues or challenges with lack of alignment between business and IT for achieving long term objectives, or facing issues/risks generally aligning business-as-usual (BAU) with long term strategic objectives.
His approach can be to help envision and enable strategy through adoption or adaptation of models based on TOGAF or other relevant methodology, or otherwise to define, plan and manage delivery using strategically aligned tactical projects and quick wins. The latter is based on experience he has had in helping businesses face up to and/or overcome similar issues and challenges with establishing Architecture practice and/or managing the maturity of it.
He is also happy to manage strategic alignment issues and risks generally, irrespective of whether an Architecture function exists.
He is also using Eco-Enable as the brand name to bring various concepts to market. These include:
Ecosystemic Architecture, a framework which defines the model - including service designs and supporting architecture(s) - which will enable a set of enterprises to operate cohesively with one another, so that they provide good quality product(s) and experience to the consumer or end-user in a value-full way which also fits with natural constraints in availability and use of natural resources and de-risks supply chain issues
OCSI, a supply chain model for omni-channel enterprise fulfillment and replenishment which takes sustainability into consideration; and
He also undertakes management consulting per se through Eco-Enable Limited and now in alliance with fellow Directors and members of the Eco-Enabler Alliance CIC
