Matt Mulcahy

I am a qualified FCCA accountant with over ten years' senior leadership experience, with the past four years as Finance Director and six years previously as Head of Finance / Management Accountant. I am a calm, focused, and responsible leader who works professionally with people and leads teams through change with clarity and purpose. I excel in financial reporting and analysis, and in building robust budgets and forecasts with revenues reaching £18m within dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Some of my achievements include securing and refinancing over £12m of funding and providing strong financial stewardship during periods of significant uncertainty. Most notably, I have played a key role in steering Gloucester Rugby through highly challenging times, ensuring stability and resilience.

Over the past two years, my strong stakeholder management skills and reputation for building credibility and trust have helped me play a key role in attracting two new shareholders to the Club.
