I am a currently serving Detective Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police Service. I have been in this role for 17 years and have specialised in safeguarding positions.

Throughout my policing career, I have worked within a number of specialist safeguarding roles, leading investigations and safeguarding interventions involving child abuse, serious sexual offences, domestic abuse and the management of convicted sexual offenders living in the community. These roles have required strong leadership, sound judgement and an unwavering commitment to protecting those at risk of harm. They have also provided me with extensive experience in safeguarding governance, risk assessment, multi-agency partnership working and the development of safeguarding cultures that prioritise accountability, vigilance and care.
