IRG (2022 - 2023)
Duties encompassed assessing vehicle damage for insurance repair estimates, customer interactions, parts ordering, liaising with insurance companies and engineers, vehicle handovers, and performing workshop tasks such as strip and fitting, mechanical repairs, paint preparation, and light valeting.
Motorpoint Car Supermarket (2020 - 2022)
Responsibilities included quality control, inspecting vehicles before customer handover, ensuring all necessary work, repairs, and maintenance were completed to a high standard. I also managed a team of up to four valeters, coordinated with colleagues in collections and sales, and performed various other duties as requested by supervisors and mangers when needed.
Assured Valeting (2018 - 2020)
Contracted to Enterprise, I was responsible for delivering and collecting vehicles, maintaining a high standard of vehicle valeting, and conducting basic pre-delivery checks. Along with various dealers and action sights Valeting, detailing and shunting vehicles.
Roles included paint correction, vehicle rebuilding, alloy wheel refurbishments, wet flatting, and machine polishing of vehicle panels.
Worked at a main Volkswagen dealership, achieving an NVQ level 3 qualification, with responsibilities including stock management, customer service, telephone orders, and parts handling.
