Matthew Melling

I am a college student looking to balance part-time work with my studies and ideally I would like to work up to 12 hours per week, but can be flexible when the needed (any hours would be great). I am available throughout the summer holidays.

I am currently working in a retail environment on a voluntary basis where I have gained knowledge of customer interaction, team work, cash handling and stock replenishment. Although I have limited work experience, I enjoy taking on new tasks and learn fast. I am looking to gain further work experience as I enjoy meeting people and would thrive in a fast-paced environment. I am hard working, reliable and friendly with an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.

I intend to follow an academic route to university but feel that I would benefit enormously from some work experience. As a student I am available from around 5PM in the evening and all day at weekend.

I currently work in a retail outlet on a voluntary basis. Through this role I have gained experience of cash handling, merchandising and customer service. I also work on a casual basis in the hospitality industry where I wait on tables and serve customers.

I am currently attend college, studying for A levels.
