I am a current PhD researcher in the field of political geography and experienced tutor of study skills and English for academic purposes (EAP). I have worked extensively for Russell Group universities with undergraduate and master’s students from a range of countries both in group and one-on-one settings. As a tutor, I have: prepared students for IELTS and Cambridge examinations; helped students develop their academic writing and independent research skills on dedicated pre-sessional courses; and assessed and offered personalised feedback on undergraduate and master's level academic work.
I am well-qualified to edit, proofread, advise on structure, style, and argument formation, and I am generally interested assisting students studying social sciences- or humanities-related disciplines with general or specific challenges they face.
