One of the focuses of my role at SIG Roofing required me to actively monitor sales and products performance, chase leads and create new business, whilst organising and executing yard, warehouses, and shop layout.

With this role I managed eight people, two members of yard staff and five 26tonne lorry drivers, plus one van driver.
- Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the branch, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
- Make sure the compliance on each vehicle is 100% compliant
- Work with branch staff and HUB Transport manager to ensure all aspects of Transport runs smoothly. (Including: Preparation for transport audit, Driver Speeding, Driver Idling, Vehicle Utilisation)
- Knowledge of O-License obligations and WTD
- Make sure all the running's of all health and safety duties are carried out daily
- Invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed units of service
- Work with the HUB Stock controller, to ensure the branch is not taking a SLOBS Charge and branch is below budgeted stock level

In this role, I took up the responsibility off planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation

- Establishing and quantifying the organisation's 'risk appetite', i.e., the level of risk they are prepared to accept
- Risk reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences, for example, to the board of directors so they understand the most significant risks, to business heads to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the business and to individuals to understand their accountability for individual risks
