Max Griffiths

I'm a software engineer with a focus on building practical, user-friendly solutions. During my funded PhD in Engineering Mathematics at the University of Bristol, I worked on machine learning models to understand human trust in automation, with skills in algorithms, data analysis, and system design.

At Verge Technology, I gained hands-on experience in full-stack development. I built front-end interfaces with Angular and TypeScript, created APIs using Flask, and managed cloud infrastructure on Azure. I also worked on fine-tuning large language models like Mistral 7B, using reinforcement learning and reward model training.

I’m experienced with Angular, TypeScript, and Python, and I enjoy solving problems and building data-driven applications. I’m always open to learning new tools and technologies to create better solutions.
