Im 20 years old. I completed my A levels in 2022 then went on to work as a barber. I have played Sunday league football in the highest league for my age group at Greenhill FC, which becomes Sheffield FC (the oldest football club in the world). Due to the high standard, it was crucial to work as a team. This includes high verbal and listening skills. This helped me to improve my communication to be an efficient in a team.
I also like to do boxing training and Thai boxing training and have done so since the age of fourteen. Since starting I was keen to learn as much as possible and was dedicated to becoming better. Having trained in the famous Wicker Camp as well as travelling to train in Thailand. I still train boxing recreationally on top of top of going to a normal gym, as I believe it’s crucial to benefit physical and mental health.

I started at Hustle Barbers in June 2022 just after my A-levels. Hustle barbers is located in
Chesterfield and therefore distant from my previous clients in Sheffield. This meant that I had to build a new clientele from scratch. To do this I relied on good customer service skills and communication. After 5 months I had built up a consistent clientele doing around 50 clients a week.

Mardy Barber is a more expensive barber shop and prides itself in amazing customer service,
making sure the client has the best experience possible. Due to the high price point of a haircut it was vital to have the service to match. Therefore, working here helped to improve my customer service skills even further.
