I am a people's person who can converse on all levels, I have a natural ability to reach out to the most vulnerable, enabling open and honest conversations, I believe everyone has the ability to change and I strive to encourage this, by making the individual understand the impact of their behaviour on others and the negative impact on them.
I have great case management skills and achieve this by setting tasks on CRM, outlook, recording all verbal and written communications, saving evidence, updating victims/ perpetrators, and any agencies involved.
Over the past 3yrs my role has been desk based, interviewing, investigation, engaging agencies, partnership working with the police, and building relationships to work together across a national geographic area, which was made easier by having ISP (Information Sharing Protocols) in place, attending LA meetings, webinars and arranging regular case conferences through to resolution.
I am able to undertake DIY legal work.. I prepare witness statements, complete court forms for Injunctions, possession, warrant applications, and also presenting cases at court.
I engage with Continuous Improvement, sharing information and ideas to enable a better service to customer and raise the profile of the Orgainsation..
My contribution to continuous improvement is also reflected by the positive compliments received from residents….
I also engage in team meetings
I have over 20yrs knowledge of dealing with Anti social Behaviour and other tenancy related matters
I provide agreat Customer Service and have received recognition for this receiving Employee of the Year in 2015, 2016 I was a Finalist in the Heroes for Housing Awards and also as Team of the year award
I thrive on doing things well.
I am able to work under pressure and prioritise my workload
I am a great team player and always make time to assist others at all times
I engage positively with customers, by listening, agreeing actions to progress investigation, explaining what is required of them and what they can expect from me, I manage the expectations of the customer by having open and honest conversations around the outcomes they seek and agreeing timescales for contact.
Engaging perpetrators can be very challenging. I always try and establish the character of the individual before making the initial contact by identifying from our systems if there are any historic cases, any actions previously undertaken, check if there are any vulnerabilities or support workers in place, and if there are any alerts for aggressive or threatening behaviour where joint visits may be required, and possibly obtain Disclosure from the police. In instances where these concerns are identified Multi agency meetings are arranged
Where safeguarding or domestic Abuse is identified case is raised in line with policy and procedure.
In previous roles I have dealt with successions, rent arrears, estate inspections, abandonment and iter tenancy related matter
I have also managed a team of Caretakers and housing officers in previous roles
I love to go on vacations, spending time with my family and friends, going to the gym, pottering around in my garden, and eating out.
