- Responsible for developing design concepts to meet the critical safety regulation requirements for federal (FMVSS) and Global (UN) requirements for rear seat.
- To do customer Input study, preparation & reviews of Preliminary Bill of material, part list and seat feature List and proposals for RFQ.

- Create and maintain Adient standards documents like Open issue list, BOM from customer complexity matrix, DFMEA with SC CC list, TDM, DCR, Cad in PLM, PPAP drawing, Part & assembly drawings with GD&T.
- Carry out Product gate sign off as part of Adient PLUS system for all requirements and safety regulations for products like Design, Safety & Manufacturing sign off, PKR sign off with SMTE's.
- Worked on Comfort and Packaging Feasibility study, Benchmarking studies, wire harness routings, cable routings and effort calculations.
- Work on concept designs, proposals and review with suppliers to get manufacturing and assembly feasibility and finally review with customers for approval and design releases.
- Release seat components and seat assemblies into Nissan and internal Teamcenter for events like DC lot, VC lot, PT1 & PT2 releases for Nissan and for Toyota.
- Resolving potential issues using A4 and A3 analysis problem solving tools.
- Review & Analyze test results as per Nissan's & Federal requirements and provide feedback to the testing team for test report creation.
- Upload & maintain CAD & Data note on Nissans team center & their internal system GDE / GRBBS.
- Conducting Tolerance stack up analysis for critical functions to analyze the worst case.
