I am a passionate, hardworking individual who is looking for a change in career. I received my degree in Psychology and worked in education, specifically with SEN students alongside my degree and after. I am looking forward to pursuing a career outside of education, using the many transferable skills I have nurtured and putting the knowledge from my degree into a workplace setting

Marketing & Admin Work Experience-Gleeds

• Collaborated closely with the Marketing and Administration teams, immersing myself in day to day processes and systems.
• Took an active role in building compelling marketing and proposal material, contributing directly to the company's strategic outreach efforts.
• Attended comprehensive training into Gleeds' invoicing and finance systems, enhancing my proficiency in financial operations within a professional setting.
• Attended meetings with internal communications by shadowing both the local team and the global marketing communications team, broadening my understanding of effective corporate messaging on a large scale.

• In this role, I am responsible for the planning and preparation of an adapted curriculum which can be delivered by myself or other members of staff to children with special educational needs
• I build and develop close rapports with parents/guardians, ensuring that their child’s needs are met consistently both at home and in an educational environment
• liaising with both the local authority and outside agencies has allowed me to create necessary connections that benefit the overall wellbeing of pupils throughout the school environment.
• On a daily basis, managing ‘challenging’ behaviours; using a multitude of strategies and tools to deescalate conduct of concern and ensure the safety of children presenting this behaviour
• Resourcing and organising an SEN inclusive club, teaching basic life skills, successful coping mechanisms/emotion regulation strategies; at the same time providing a safe space for individuals with special educational needs.

• This role includes and delivered structured activities, involving thorough planning and coordination of people
• I have built close relationships with parents/guardians during handovers, managing any questions or concerns they had
• Being responsible for the registration of children entering the club
• Observing key stages in development in Early Years children, documenting expected developmental milestones as well as identifying any possible delays and communicating with the necessary parties for support and further expertise
