I have recently completed my sport and exercise degree and am currently working as an apprentice dental nurse in clinical practice. I possess a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and patient care, alongside hands-on chairside assitant experience. This has strengthened my professionalism, communication, and organisation skills.

I am now seeking further opportunities to continue building on my practical knowledge and experience. I have previously worked in a range of customer-facing roles, which have developed my confidence and interpersonal skills. I am particuarly strong in areas such as attention to detail, analytical thinking, and working within structured, process driven environments.

Apprentice Dental nurse at Firwood Dental practice (2025-09 – Present)

• I assist dentists during a range of dental procedures e.g., extractions, exams & scale and polish and crown treatments
• Prepare and maintain the surgery before, during, and after each patient by setting up all the equipment and wiping down
• Mix dental materials when needed such as alginate for impressions
• Make the patient feel comfortable and supported throughout the whole procedure
• assist in the decontamination room wiping down instruments and sterilising them
• assist in reception duties like answering the phone and booking appointments

Occupational health technician at optima health (2025-06 – 2025-09)

• Conduct health screening services for clients, including hearing tests, lung function tests, blood pressure, height/weight/BMI, and general health assessments
• Travel to different client sites with all my equipment, requiring excellent time management and adaptability
• Client sites include Nestle and Amazon
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high levels of confidentiality and professionalism
• Communicate findings to clinical staff and assist in reporting
• Develop strong understanding of occupational health and wellbeing in workplace environments

Retail assistant at Primark (2022-04 – 2025-06)

• Weekend employee on an 8-hour contract with regular additional overtime
• Responsible for till operations, store maintenance, stock replenishment, and processing returns
• Assist customers and queries, including product avaliability and sizing

• Provided one-on-one tutoring to college students resitting their GCSE maths exam
