I am 22 years old, and I have just finished studying Bioveterinary Science at University of Lincoln as. I would like to gain further work experience in a well-working environment in a job that is closely related to what I’m studying. I am a friendly, hard working and enthusiastic character that is always ready to do a new task and I always work to the best of my ability to get the work done.
I am an organised character who is always ready to take part in anything. I take pride in my work and make sure that it is always done in time as time management is important.
I was working in the boarding facilities. This included morning and evening feeds, medications, cleaning the kennels, walking, and socialising the dogs, and occasionally grooming. I also did work with the rescue dogs for socialisation and training as well as doing pack runs with the stock dogs they have there.
I have also gained work experience at Riseholme Farm where I have helped with farm work and lambing season over the past 2 year. This included helping ewe’s give birth, iodising the umbilical cords, and giving sufficient amounts of colostrum to the lambs as well as cleaning pens, providing food and water, and helping turn the sheep out into the fields.
I have just finished studying a BSc (Hons) degree in Bioveterinary Science.
