I started working at Coningsby st. Michaels when my youngest child started in reception. I started out as a midday supervisory assistant. While in this position I volunteered 4/5 afternoons a week in the year 1 class to gain experience.
After 4 years I studied my Level 2 and then my certificate in Level 3 Working with Young Children. During this time I was successful in securing a morning 1:1 position working with a child on the Autistic Spectrum. I worked with them for 2 years until they left for secondary school.
I also worked with a younger child as their 1:1 in the afternoons, also on the Autistic Spectrum. I worked with them for 3 years until I left in 2021. Then in September 2020 I started working with a child with significant complex needs and behavioural issues.
I worked with them for a year before they moved to a school more suited for their overall needs.
Senior Health Care Assistant/Head of Care - Bramhall Care Home - Tattershall

I started working morning 6-2 shifts as a Care Assistant at Bramhall. My duties included providing residents with personal care while still helping them maintain their independence, such as-helping those who need it to use the toilet, shower, and giving assistance walking. The majority of residents under my care suffer various forms of dementia (such as Alzheimer's or vascular), and/or have behavioural challenges that require empathy, individual knowledge of the resident, and a great degree of patience.
Within 6 months of this job I progressed to Senior Carer, which I did for a year and a half. I also took on regular shifts as Head of Care.
