I ensured the cleanliness of cutlery, plates and other utensils behind the scenes making sure cutlery was sterile after a day of use and all plates were sterile and clean for daily use. I handled food and frequently helped to prepare food which was served to the public. I would serve customers ensuring they were happy and comfortable, making sure they were attended too at all times and always had what they needed.
I frequently checked in on customers and used my social skills too good use, treating all customers as friends.
I took part in the supervision and safeguarding of children 0-5 ensuring their day to day safety and happiness, I took part in multiple training programs including food safety, safeguarding, child protection, attachment and trauma, first aid and much more. I would dish out and handle food making sure all children's allergies were addended to and prevent any children from eating anything that would cause them harm. Planned and carried out activities which provide fun learning experiences for children to help their development and learning as they grow.
I also spent much of my time supporting SEN children, using objects of reference, now and next boards and activities such as bucket time to help their growth and development while also ensuring their individual needs are met. I have worked as a 1:1 many times and use my skills such as patience and care to help them to feel comfortable and safe.
