I am a friendly, sociable and enthusiastic 16-year-old school leaver who is planning to continue into further education to complete my A Levels. I am currently seeking summer employment, followed by part-time weekend work, to help me gain valuable workplace experience while saving towards university and future travel opportunities. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new skills and taking on new challenges.

Work Experience Placement - TheMedia.Agency - Abergavenny

During my work experience placement with TheMedia.Agency, a marketing agency based in Abergavenny, I gained valuable insight into the digital marketing industry and developed a range of practical skills, including:

• Adding content to client websites
• Assisting with Google indexing to support SEO performance
• Writing and scheduling social media posts for clients
• Learning how digital marketing campaigns are managed
• Completing voiceover work in both English and Welsh for a client social media advertisement
• Supporting content creation and marketing activities

Social Media Campaign Participation - TheMedia.Agency - Abergavenny

Following my work experience placement, I was invited to participate in a social media campaign promoting active travel for one of the agency's clients. This involved appearing in promotional content and supporting a professional marketing campaign.

Charity Fashion Show Model - Alison Tod

I had the opportunity to model at a charity fashion show featuring the work of milliner Alison Tod. During the event, I modelled a selection of handcrafted hats in front of a live audience, helping to raise funds for charity.

Upcoming Work Experience Placement - Abergavenny Town Council - Abergavenny

(2026-06 - 2026-08)

I will be undertaking a work experience placement with Abergavenny Town Council during the summer. This opportunity will allow me to gain an understanding of local government, community engagement and public service. As part of my interest in government and politics, I have already attended a Council meeting to observe how meetings are conducted, how decisions are made and how local issues are discussed and managed.

I am looking forward to developing my knowledge of local government and gaining practical workplace experience through this placement.
