Educated to a First Class Honours degree level, I am an extremely organised and dedicated individual.
English communication and good IT skills have supported me to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. My key strengths reside in being able to manage and prioritise the completion of tasks, paying attention to detail and being able to work flexibly whilst exercising my initiative appropriately. I have acquired a range of transferable skills since working as a qualified teacher.
From working with adults, I have developed exemplary customer service, showing people care and respect. From working in the education system, I have a sound understanding of the importance of confidentiality and how to comply with a range of regulatory standards (safeguarding, health and safety, GDPR and more). As a highly organised individual, I can use a range of IT programs and cloud-based technology to input and interpret data as well as organise records.
Using key communication and organisational skills, I worked in a team to deliver a broad and interesting curriculum. During this time, it was also my duty to carry out assessments, record and interpret data to improve the school. A further part of my role included reporting safeguarding concerns to the appropriate software and contacting the relevant senior team members.
Using my excellent interpersonal skills, I communicated with a range of stakeholders, building relationships based on trust with a range of individuals. I further used this skill to manage junior members of the team.
I attended the University of Bedfordshire to complete my Honours Degree in Primary Education (with Qualified Teacher Status). I obtained a First Class grading from this degree, showcasing my literacy and academic skills. This degree also relied heavily on practical assessment. I can therefore exercise autonomy appropriately whilst also working well as part of team to reach common goals.
