A multilingual History and French Oxford-graduate. Bilingual Danish and English, with an advanced standard of written and spoken French. Having completed my PGDL at the University of Law in May 2025 with Distinction, I am looking for legal work.
I have taken on significant responsibility in both hospitality and professional settings. At Annie’s Chiswick, I stepped into a managerial role for three weeks, overseeing staff, resolving conflicts, completing financial and daily reports, and ensuring the smooth running of shifts while balancing my PGDL studies. This strengthened my leadership, decision-making, and prioritisation skills.
During a six-month recruitment internship at Babylangues in Paris, I managed key aspects of the employment process in compliance with French employment law, reviewed applications and contracts, interviewed candidates, and liaised directly with clients. Working to tight deadlines in a client-focused environment developed my organisational, communication, and teamwork skills, which are highly transferable to legal practice.
A workshop at Weil, Gotshal & Manges introduced me to commercial law through discussions with lawyers and practical deal simulations, confirming my interest in the field.
I also spent a week shadowing at Nedgroup Investments, where I gained insight into the structuring and regulation of investment funds, observing the importance of legal frameworks and regulatory compliance in fund management.
