I am a self employed musician/teacher specialising in double bass, electric bass and cello
I have extensive experience conducting workshops and teaching students of all ages on a one-to-one basis. I currently teach students privately at home and at an independent school in Doncaster.
I specialise in teaching classical and folk cello (European,Turkish,Greek music), bass guitar and jazz double bass.
I have lots of performance experience performing nationally and internationally over many years including festivals/venues in London, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Italy and Germany.
In 2021 I was awarded Arts Council funding for research and development of solo repertoire for double bass and cello.
This was released in 2022 for which I was awarded New York Jazz Records ‘#1 solo album on the Year'.
