December 2021 to September 2024
During my time working at party central as head animal handler, I was required to work with all different groups of people of all ages, meaning as a team we had to be coherent and communicate efficiently to deliver the best experience and customer service. Whilst working at party central wildlife experience i had the pleasure of working with and breeding array of exotic animals from giant snake's mammal's arachnid's invert's amphibian's horses an pony over the years taking them to school's, collage's, university's on education visit's to educate people of these beautiful animal's, we also done hospital's care homes fun days, im am really passionate about all animals and being party of massive conservation projects would be a dream for me.
from keeping and working with animal's reptile's for many year now iv gained quite a bit of knowledge of plant's through setting up massive bioactive enclosure's for my animal's.
January 2018 to November 2021
During my time as a landscape gardener, I was required to follow rules and safety hazards as this job used many tools and equipment as I fitted block paving and flagging. In this role, I worked efficiently in a team as we had to work well together to complete jobs at a steady pace, ensuring the work was to the customer’s standards.
I was a permanent member of the staff for this company, I valued my position and remained punctual and had impeccable attendance. During my time, I worked in many people's homes, businesses and communities, meaning I was a valued member of staff who was trustworthy and understanding. This job allowed me to develop basic skills as well as independence in completing jobs on my own.
Due to recent family circumstances, I was left with the unfortunate option of taking time out from working as I have been a primary caregiver to a family member. However, I am enthusiastic to begin a new experience in a new role.
January 2016 to January 2018
During my time I worked night shifts in the loading bay department which required effective teamwork skills to carefully load lorries with large glass windows. During this time, I was promoted to supervisor which meant I took my role very seriously as I was responsible for planning and organizing the jobsequence and the staff flow. I was also responsible for signing off all paperwork on my shifts and following a checklist of jobs making sure they were all completed before the end of my shift.
January 2015 to December 2016
During my time, I sprayed and polished cars making sure the bodywork of the car was restored from damage. To complete this job, I was confident in my position and understood my role.
Working hands-on allowed me to engage and concentrate on the job, making sure I stayed up to date with team meetings so that other members of staff could participate and assist each other.
During my time, I worked nights as a machine technician supervisor making fire lighters and fire liquid. As this job is hazardous, I had to ensure that all safety procedures were followed, and efficient training was completed.
I remained alert and conscious of updated training, making sure I was following the correct procedures.
I worked night shifts, which were considered the busiest time as it included preparation and packing for the next day. Following the job tasks for my shift allowed the next shift to flow effectively which is huge part in team working.
January 2003 to December 2010
I served as a front line infantry soldier for the 1st battalion royal Irish regiment. During this time, I developed my communication,
listening and time management skills. As a team, we travelled to numerous countries supporting individuals in times of need. Following rules was important in this role as we were responsible for other individuals. The armed forces taught me how to discuss my opinion where necessary and listen to what others have to say as working as a team is vital.
In this role, I worked as a security guard ensuring the Christmas markets in Sweden were kept safe and secure. I learned how to keep myself and others safe during this time. To be chosen for this position I had to be a mature and responsbile individual who understood the importance of being aware and alert.
The armed forces taught me how to be an effective problem solver as we had to find a solution to every issue. This is a skill I will use in all other employment.
